Hey guys,
So things have been very busy for us recently with our end of year exams and Finland planning. But as of today all three of us have finished our exams, as Mark had his last one today!
In terms of planning Finland it is growing scarily close now, so we have been very busy. We have had some very good news. AMG Group are sponsoring us some camping gear for our trip which is great. Moreover, BulletHD are giving us cameras, which is absolutely fantastic, we can’t wait to try them out. Also our dry bags from OverBoard arrived a while back and Erin and I took a few of them out today in Anglesey and they are great. Here’s a photo of me putting my lunch in my kayak:
We have tried to keep up with some training over the exam period, but now it’s time to get seriously back into the training. Yesterday Erin and I paddled on the Leam in the sun:
And as previously mentioned, today we went up to Anglesey which was great, it was fantastic to get back on the sea after a break. The weather wasn’t so good, which was fine by me, since the sunny day on the Leam left me rather pink.
We explored some new coastlines, which led to us wading through some sludge…
Feeling pretty shattered now, and these next few weeks are going to be fairly busy. We will be posting more regularly over the next month!
